RE
Castlefort Academy follows the locally agreed syllabus within Walsall in accordance with the 1996 Education Act. RE is taught through a blocked week each term (Y1-6). Topics for teaching and learning encompass all of the major world religions. Our school is also fortunate to enjoy strong links with St John’s Church in Walsall Wood.
Under Section 25 of the Education Act 1996, parents/carers have the right to ask that their children be withdrawn from Religious Education and assemblies.
